The Cherry Blossom Open (CBO) is a USFA tournament that we host, usually in early April. It is not limited to college students, and it attracts many strong fencers from throughout the region.

The CBO is hosted in the Armory, which is the only venue on campus large enough to hold it.

We host the CBO in concert with the Capitol Division of the USFA. They provide the capital and some organizational assistance, we provide the labor, and they split the profits with us evenly.

Absolute Fencing sells gear at the CBO. They also provide most of the equipment for the tournament (scoring machines, reels, strips, etc.).
