Events

There are a few events during the course of the year that give us an opportunity to gain exposure to the campus community.

First Look Fair

The First Look Fair is an event held at the beginning of the school year to allow students to explore the student organizations available to them. At the First Look Fair, every organization gets a table on the Mall to showcase what they do. This is possibly the single biggest recruitment draw for us.

StampFest

StampFest is an event held in the Stamp at the beginning of the spring semester. During StampFest, there is an organization fair at which we can man a table to advertise our club. There is also a talent showcase held, at which we can do a fencing demo.

Advertising

Bus ads

DOTS allows student organizations to advertise on Shuttle-UM for free.

Flyers

We can hang flyers around well-traveled areas of campus.

Chalk

Chalking is a very popular means of advertisement on campus. Good places to chalk include on the sidewalks surrounding the Mall, in front of the ERC, and in front of the Stamp.
