The Temple Open is an individual tournament hosted by Temple University, usually on the first weekend of November. It attracts strong collegiate fencers from all over the East Coast, and it lasts two days.

Temple Open is held on a weekend with women fencing on Saturday and men fencing on Sunday. Our women travel to Philadelphia on Friday night and stay in a hotel, and the men travel on Saturday morning. The entire team stays in a hotel on Saturday night and drives back after fencing ends on Sunday evening.

After fencing ends on Saturday, the team gets cheesesteaks from Pat's or Gino's.
